CNO Financial Group Business Continuity Intern - Spring 2020 in Carmel, Indiana
The Business Continuity Management (BCM) Intern assists in executing projects to enhance CNO’s capability to recover critical business processes in the event of a business disruption or crisis. The intern will be actively involved in business continuity training activities and the execution of recovery test procedures. Specific intern tasks will include:
Creating employee training and awareness materials
Developing documentation and materials to assist in the evaluation of continuity processes
Assisting in the facilitation of annual continuity review meetings
Enhancing the use of systems and tools supporting the BCM function
The intern will interact with the BCM team as well as management and staff from various business units and Internal Audit.
Core Skills & Knowledge Required:
Ability to understand business processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in teams
Ability to be organized and prioritize work; seek direction as appropriate
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Must have at least one additional school semester AFTER the internship is over.
This is a paid internship based in our Carmel, IN headquarters. You will be expected to work approximately twenty hours per week. Your work schedule can be coordinated around your academic obligations.
This internship begins in mid-January and ends in May. Housing is provided by the intern.
