CNO Financial Group Investment Analyst in Carmel, Indiana

CNO Financial Group’s 40|86 Advisors are hiring an Investment Analyst for detailed analytical and evaluative review of investment data, historical market data and portfolio performance.

This is your opportunity to recommend improvements on existing investment reporting and risk infrastructure.

As an Investment Analyst , your responsibilities will include:

  • Benchmark portfolio investments to market indices and Peers.

  • Interface with portfolio managers, traders, and analysts within the firm in support of investment decisions.

  • Create and analyze earned income by business segment.

  • Effectively communicate with portfolio managers, clients, and other departments for requests and ad hoc reports on various topics.

  • Effectively communicate the results of the investment activity period by period and provide insights to management.

The Investment Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have a strong business acumen, analysis skills, written and verbal communication.

  • Are highly organized with outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Work well directly with business partners and executives.

  • Possess integrity and are eager to be a part of a progressive culture that embraces diverse opportunities.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field of study.

  • Three years of relevant experience in a professional office environment.

  • Qualitative and Quantitative orientation.

  • Bloomberg Experience a preferred but not required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week.
