CNO Financial Group Program Manager Partner Performance in Carmel, Indiana

The Program Mgr, Partner Performance is accountable for the day-to-day relationships with CNO IT's key partners, adhering to the ‘Build One Team” principle. This role will oversee large partner programs such as transitions or transformations and will serve as the first escalation point for any partner issues or concerns. Additionally, this role will oversee and maximize use of all other secondary CNO IT partners. This role will partner with the Senior Director, Global Partner Engagement to define and implement strategies to maximize partner relationships; and will partner with other Directors to identify, track and report on key partner performance and engagement metrics. He/she will also set standards for preferred contracting partners, roles, rates, etc. in addition to developing and maintaining high performing, long-term “win-win” partnerships with service providers. A key aspect of the role is to boost morale and build productivity within teams for better and more efficient execution of tasks and projects and ultimately leading to a better user experience.

Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Develops, implements, and oversees large programs with partners to increase performance and raise engagement. Measures, tracks and evaluates partner performance.

  2. Analyzes ongoing partner performance and ability to meet the SLAs and KPIs.

  3. Oversees and monitors large partner transition or transformation initiatives.

  4. Provides daily leadership through partner issues and escalation.

  5. Develops standards and governance to maximize performance and engagement of all other secondary partners.

  6. Monitors and tracks partner resource capacity and utilization.

  7. Maintains relationships and contacts with all partners to facilitate communications, policy changes, updates, etc.

  8. Develops and maintains standard contracting partners, roles, rates, etc.

  9. Monitors and tracks budget, actual and forecast partner financials.

  10. Collaborates with the Vendor Management Office (VMO) to monitor and track partner performance and issues.

  11. Oversees and manages pipeline of additional potential partner SOWs and change orders.

  12. Monitors and tracks key risk mitigation activities.

  13. Cultivates "One Team" mentality with all partners.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  1. Demonstrated partner management experience, including large offshore service providers.

  2. In-depth knowledge of large program management principles and processes.

  3. Solid capability in executing and driving IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.

  4. In depth ability to track and manage to budgets.

  5. Possesses excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills.

  6. Excellent communication & presentation skills, both oral and written; proven capability to work well with all levels of the organization.

  7. Demonstrates good time management and organizational skills; strong ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently

  8. Demonstrates proven problem resolutions skills; aptitude for fostering effective relationships

  9. Customer focused; drive to get things done; possesses a bias for action

  10. Willingness to make decisions and take smart risks

  11. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software

Education and Experience:

  1. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; Master’s Degree preferred.

  2. Typically a minimum of ten years of IT and technology experience; previous IT leadership experience in areas of responsibility and in similar roles within a comparably sized company is highly preferred.

  3. At least three years of IT partner management, highly preferred
