Bankers Life Securities Seeks Our Next Senior Platform Analyst at Chicago Corporate Headquarters
The Senior Platform Analyst provides consulting and support to Financial Advisors (FAs) and Investment Advisors (IAs) through inbound calls, online training, and in-person training educating them on the benefits and functions of our RIA and Broker/dealer platforms and its capabilities as well as continuously pursues enhancements, improvements, and efficiencies in managing the platforms.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Provide consulting and support to FAs and IAs through inbound calls, online training, and in-person training educating them on the benefits and functions of our Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) platform and its capabilities. Increase the use of the platform and improve advisor efficiency. Act as a Subject Matter Expert on platform functionality. Act as liaison with our key strategic partners in delivering platform capabilities; demonstrate a high level of service. Prepare and monitor platform performance relative to selected KPIs. Responsible for working with other areas of the business (Compliance and Broker/dealer) to solve process and procedural matters or develop and help implement new processes and procedures to strengthen the control environment. Advisor directed and UMA model support including model creation, model management and trading. Supports Online proposal generation and Statement of Investment Selection (SIS). Provides Mutual fund and Exchange-traded Fund (ETF) product support. Conducts product due diligence utilizing existing policy and procedure for all product offerings. Acts as due diligence coordinator and establishes ongoing relationship with vendors. Plans and prepares and coordinates all field training and meetings including boot camps, Financial Advisory University (FAU), regionals and brings monthly offerings to the field. Manages the field communication process (weekly newsletter).
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Good knowledge of Envestnet platform, Pershing Netx360, and various retirement income tools Excellent troubleshooting skills; experience in issue management a plus. Comfortable operating under tight deadlines with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Demonstrated experience managing challenging client interfaces, navigating situations to resolution and providing exceptional client service. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical teams, as well as advisors, is required. Ability to quickly grasp complicated situations– team members will have an in-depth knowledge about the platform features and functionality, including advisor directed tools and Reporting. Must be a team player who’s willing to build relationships and work both individually and in a collaborative approach.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or other related field, or equivalent, is required. Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in the financial services area working with clients by providing first level support on financial platforms, cross-sell of products, financial analysis or other client facing roles. Series 7, and 66 or Series 65 or other industry credential available to ensure licensing and registration. Series 24 also preferred.
