CNO Financial Group Manager Account Management-Remote in Central & Eastern Time Zone in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

CNO’s worksite Sales team is hiring a Manager, Account Management to manage the resources responsible for ensuring the long-term success and profitability of our clients. In this role, you are responsible for training and managing a segment of Account Management team members. The manager manages their direct reports to reach minimum thresholds in areas including: client utilization, renewals, reference ability, and growth.

As a Manager, Account Management your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Account Management resources to ensure that they are successfully delivering on their role's responsibilities.

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across all services, including Communications, Strategic Engagement, Ben Admin and Advocacy & Transparency.

  • Ensuring Client retention/renewal and reference ability meet goals.

  • Identifying Clients who are believed to be "at-risk", inform other appropriate resources, and work to put a remediation plan in place immediately.

  • Identifying new upsell / cross-sales opportunities.

  • Ensuring Client utilization of Advocacy & Transparency services meet goals.

  • Supporting achievement of PPI target goals with Strategic Engagement or bundled clients.

  • Involving appropriate Sales, SME, Implementation, or Delivery resources in relevant meetings and communications.

  • Involving the Client’s Broker/Consultant in relevant meetings and communications.

The Manager, Account Management position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have strong knowledge of the healthcare and benefits space and experience working with large clients and their brokers.

  • Have demonstrated the ability to lead, manage and grow an account management team.

  • Understand KPIs that lead to client success and ensure team members achieve these measures.

  • Have a sense of urgency and are detail and results-oriented.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business, health administration, healthcare or a related major.

  • At least 5 years of proven client-focused experience in the benefits, brokers, benefits administration and/or health care industry.

  • At least 4 years in an Account Management role in the healthcare/benefits industry, working directly with large clients (1000+ employees).

  • Previous experience leading an account management team

CNO Financial Group offices reopened in April 2022 and we will be pursuing a hybrid working model. Associates who live within a 60 mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
