CNO Financial Group Benefits Configuration Analyst in Orlando, Florida
The Configuration Analyst primarily provides internal and external technical support on client portals which includes interpreting, customizing, advising, and implementing multiple client portals. This role will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing new client portals. These portals must meet benefit plan design requirements and compliance. Each client will have unique needs and this role must be able to adept and provide design that meets each client’s needs. This position is client facing and will be required to meet with clients during the implementation phase as well as during renewal. In some cases, work arounds may be necessary, so he/she must be knowledgeable enough to rewrite and customize based upon client specifications and ERISA regulations.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
In partnership with the Implementation Project Manager, attend discovery calls with Sales to Implementation, support in gathering all facts and documents utilized during the sales process.
During implementation, the Configuration Analyst will serve as a consultant to each client, advising them on best programming practices and set-up.
Establish a relationship with the employer group and broker contactsTrain the client on InSite to help gather all required supporting documentation from employer group or broker pertaining to on-boarding.
Coordinate the collection of information and communicate with the appropriate departments within WBD.
Collect and document all required data elements.Provide technical support to existing clients in areas such as Troubleshoot Client Setup Issues.
Configure, customize, code, and design the Ben Admin System as Needed (New and Open Enrollment).
Start outreach process and create project management plan for each renewal.Participate in the QA for Partner Vendor Configurations and work with configuration audits.
Support the design of Decision Support portals.
Work directly with users and customers to identify needs and resolve software configuration problems.
Monitor and troubleshoot common and daily tasks and events as well as changes.
Participate in employer group and/or broker meetings to review functionality issues or participate in roll out discussions
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Creative and professional verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate above-average initiative, self-reliance, and autonomy, with the judgment to know when to take the lead, when to involve others, and how to set priorities of the work functions assigned

Must be able to interpret complex benefit plans and translate those plan designs into our technology while maintaining compliance to meet ERISA regulations as well as SOC2.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in software configuration and training, or related field.
