Manages all incoming data that is sent or received form our customers or third-party vendors (TPA). Processes files in a timely basis and ensures accuracy of the transfer of data. Uses security protocols at all times and carefully manages data manipulation process. Assists as needed to ensure smooth flow of information between all parties. Cross trains with EDI analysts to share responsibilities and assist as needed.
Manages the creation of inbound data feeds:
Consults with TPA’s and client technical admins regarding the required structures.
Manages the expectations of the overall process and timeline.
Manages the testing process of the inbound file to ensure it meets all data validation requirements.
Provides feedback (written and verbal) on test file loads to ensure data accuracy.
Work with the TPA’s and client technical admins to establish production readiness procedures and timelines.
Ongoing Data File Maintenance:
Absorbs and loads the data files through the WBD load utility.
Reviews file to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk to EDI files.
Communicates with the necessary stakeholders for any issues and offers solutions to ensure proper data loads.
Provides written authorization of file loads to appropriate stakeholders.
Validate data loads met required data accuracy standards.
Self-Bill Creation and Maintenance:
Create non feed self-bill reports to meet specific carrier requirements.
Schedule reports to send to the appropriate stakeholders as necessary.
Initial Client Onboarding (Initial Census):
Consult the key stake holders on the initial onboarding process.
Provide the appropriate template per the onboarding requirements.
Manage data validation and consult stake holders on missing, incorrect data elements, and tier discrepancies.
Load and map all data elements to the WBD system based on data conversion workflows.
Manage stakeholder expectation on data load and obtain appropriate sign off.
- Manage data audits as necessary between data sources.
Creates and schedules monthly self-bills.
Creates standard reports.
Prepares and coordinates one-time baseline files at open enrollment and at renewal.
Performs weekly/quarterly audits as well as ad hoc requests. Records all files processed on file tracker.
Manages the initial census file loads and analyzes data received to ensure a successful upload.
Creates custom reports as needed.
Helps load backfill data for ACA purposes. May be trained on ACA hotline.
May be asked to work as an Exchange Liaison. Procure required paperwork and add to exchange tracker. Set up report according to carrier requirements.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong analytical skills
Education and Experience:
Typically requires an Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Typically requires a minimum of two years of experience as a data analyst.
Client management experienced preferred.
