CNO Financial Group Regional Sales Director (WBD) in Remote, Minnesota
In this position, you'll identify and close new clients from relationships built within our three tier distribution channel (Employee Benefit Consultants, Insurance Carriers, & Employer groups directly).
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Generate and close new sales opportunities
Develop relationships with distributing partners (Employee Benefit Brokers and Insurance Carriers)
Drive conversion of prospect to client through account research, identifying key players and generating interest in WBD solutions
Lead prospect meetings including system demonstrations
Effectively Support Marketing Initiatives
Drive revenue through existing customer base (upsell additional products and services)
Demonstrate Technical, Product & Industry Expertise
Become proficient in our CRM, Salesforce. Dedicated to data quality and meticulous population of key sales information
Devoted to continuous learning of industry - trends, competitors and the market
Self-motivated: set and identify goals (activities, results, income)
Track and report success metrics
Team player: share best practices, contribute to team success, build internal partnerships
Time management: ability to facilitate multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively to achieve weekly and monthly goals
Results oriented: understand where you are against all established goals, make corrections and adjustments accordingly
Creative: use tools, campaigns, events to deliver successful results across a variety of accounts and industries. Demonstrate ability to tailor messaging and approach.
Strong interpersonal skills: must be able to build positive relationships both internally and externally to achieve success
Develop and execute a cold calling strategy to target partners & prospects
Mine existing clients for referral business
Implement sales strategies
Connect customers' business needs with Web Benefits Design’s products and services
Results oriented: Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Meet appropriate sales quotas.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
5+ years sales experience in the software, employee benefits and/or HR administration space
Client facing sales experience.
Consulting experience through long sales cycles.
Self-motivated; set and identify goals (activities, results, income).
Basic knowledge of CRM Software Salesforce
