Our next Colonial Penn Medicare Evening Supervisor is responsible for a sales team of 15-20 Evening Agents. He/she possesses the ability to manage their team to achieve competitive sales performance and enhances the overall customer experience of prospects and customers. He/she will ensure production and service standards are followed. Provides back-up support to Telesales Manager, as needed. Teaches new representatives good work habits and sales presentation quality. Represents the Consumer Division in a courteous, positive, professional manner that promotes integrity and customer satisfaction in a timely, cost effective manner that is compliant with state regulations and company policy.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Supervision, training and sales coaching of 15-20 outbound and inbound Telesales Representatives.
Manages day to day production, performance, and operations of their sales team.
Maintains knowledge of and changes to products, procedures, data systems and workflows necessary to support the team in completing sales and service functions.
Oversees Telesales Representatives’ sales and service presentations and provide timely feedback in support of improving individual sales and customer service performance.
Effectively communicates with various levels of management and agents to provide subject matter expertise.
Assist staff with calls, issues, etc.
Provide training and sales coaching of new employees and identify future needs for both new and tenured representatives.
Provide suggestions for changes and improvements to enhance sales production and work efficiency.
Conduct regular 1:1s and provide on-going feedback on performance with direct reports.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Must work the core evening hours of Monday-Friday 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST and every third Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, with the flexibility to work additional hours outside of the core hours as needed.
Proven leadership and coaching capabilities with a high level of dependability and initiative.
Ability to adapt to different employee and customer needs.
Must possess strong product knowledge.
Solid knowledge of Federal and State legal requirements and standards.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, as demonstrated by prior work experience.
Good ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions.
Good ability to lead a project and follow it through to completion.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, in a related discipline, or equivalent.
Has a minimum of five years of related work experience Supervisory experience in a sales or call center environment, remote supervisor experience preferred.
If not already licensed, must obtain a Life or Health license within 30 days of hire and comply with all licensing and continuing education requirements.
