Salary Range : $140,600 - $211,000 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company is seeking a Agile Product Director, Worksite to define and prioritize product functions and features to achieve business objectives. The role will lead cross-functional Agile teams and Business Support teams, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain and enhance a portfolio of business processes that maximize the value. The Agile Product Owner, Worksite will communicate the product vision and roadmap to align with larger solution vision. Additionally, they manage delivery resources and ensure successful implementation.

As a Agile Product Director, Worksite, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and support cross-functional Agile and non-Agile Scrum Team to drive team productivity

  • Transform business requirements into user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria

  • Prioritize Product backlog and plan iterations based on customer’s needs and strategy.

  • Communicate and align vision with stakeholders and development teams

  • Collaborate with architects/engineers to address enabler work

  • Deliver meaningful presentations and demos for stakeholders (internal and external).

  • Contribute to the program vision and participate in the Program Increment (PI) Planning events.

  • Manage delivery resources, promoting a culture of teamwork, leadership and courage.

  • Validate functionality after system production release to ensure a successful implementation.

  • Communicate changes to stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.

The Agile Product Director, Worksite position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Lead and influence teams (direct and indirect).

  • Demonstrate familiarity with workflow, automation, and reporting technologies.

  • Drive, shape, and influence the creation of well-defined features and user stories that align with CNO standards.

  • Exhibit solid organizational and time management skills.

  • Think critically with analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Pay attention to details.

  • Communicate and lead effectively.

  • Understand Agile values, processes, and principles, including the Scrum and SAFE frameworks.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.

  • Work both independently and collaboratively in both cross-functional and non-cross-functional team settings.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or demonstrated and proven experience leading through multiple POs or Managers for a large product line.

  • 10 years of related work experience (such as project management, business analysis, system analysis, product ownership, product management).

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
