CNO Financial Group Organizational Development Program Analyst - REMOTE in Carmel, Indiana

Salary Range : $63,700 - $95,500 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

CNO Financial Group’s Human Resources Department is hiring an Organization Development Program Analyst to provide support for planning, executing, and monitoring successful OD initiatives and strategies set by the Director and/or VP. This role supports multiple OD strategic areas: learning and development, communications, project documentation and management, and change management.

This is your opportunity to provide direct support to the Chief Human Resources Officer and the HR and Facilities functional leaders on various projects, meetings, and reporting needs.

As an Organization Development Program Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving execution of Organization Development (OD) and learning initiatives, creating and fulfilling implementation plans, identifying and reporting success metrics, defining improvement possibilities for future implementations.

  • Analyzing and synthesizing employee survey results as well as partner on identifying new ways to gather the voice of the employee to drive desired culture.

  • Supporting the development of and execution of learning engagements in support of key HR initiatives.

  • Aiding the development of and execution of change and communication initiatives in support of key HR initiatives.

  • Assisting in process documentation and project management of various HR initiatives.

  • Driving analysis of HR data; provide workforce data for applications, ESG etc.; create dashboards / scorecards and make initial observations and interpretations of data for review; communicate findings together with HR colleagues.

  • Monitoring and tracking the effectiveness of key HR programs, processes, and systems including DE&I, talent and performance management, onboarding, intern program, etc.

  • Systematically identify organization and process complexity that may impede speed of delivery

  • Staying abreast of reporting and analytical best practices, and external quantitative and qualitative data and trends; bring research and external data to bear on internal analysis

  • Developing draft communications on behalf of the CHRO and/or research in support of these; Communications range from weekly ELG meetings to Quarterly Business Reviews.

  • Researching, compiling, analyzing and summarizing HR-related information.

  • Coordinating/orchestrating of projects or commitments directly involving the CHRO and her direct reports.

  • Attending meetings, developing agendas, capturing major take-a ways, and working with HR team to ensure follow up.

  • Engaging in root cause analysis on issues and opportunities that could impact the HR priorities.

The Organization Development Program Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Challenge conventional thinking and practical constraints to influence continuous improvement.

  • Model active listening and cooperative behaviors.

  • Possess clear and concise verbal and written communications, strong group presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Have acquired working knowledge of HR principles and practices and CNO functions and business lines.

  • Effectively work with, filter/sift and interpret data, gather, and analyze information, and present findings in user-friendly ways; must be accurate, and thorough with a strong attention to detail.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a data reporting/analysis-related field.

  • Three years of related work experience in Human Resources with a focus on HR processes and analytics; project management or coordination experience.

  • Good working knowledge of data manipulation in Excel, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, social media, SharePoint and other business-related software.

What will set you apart:

  • Five years of Workday experience.

  • Five years of HR experience.

  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
