Salary Range : $72,200 - $108,400 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

CNO Financial Group is hiring a Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst to be responsible for analyzing, identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across the enterprise. They will lead collaborative efforts with business partners to conduct assessments of processes and systems for the identification of potential risks. The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst will lead projects and review work of others to provide feedback for improved outcomes and timely delivery.

As a Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with accountable parties on assignments to provide guidance on risk tracking.

  • Complete work timely and accurately as well as supporting analysts in their work to ensure project objectives and deliverable deadlines are met.

  • Research industry best practices, share concepts/train peers, and apply principles to enterprise risk strategies.

  • Partner with various business areas in creating risk assessment processes as requested.

  • Provide risk input and expertise to business areas implementing risk related processes or processes with integrated risk considerations.

  • Lead process improvement efforts to align with updated regulation and changing environments.

  • Identify issues that should be reviewed and/or escalated to higher levels of management.

  • Maintain departmental process and procedural documents.

  • Perform and lead moderate to complex risk assessments.

  • Support a risk management culture mindset across the enterprise through projects and educational activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and across the enterprise to achieve risk optimization, heavily interfaces with the business, Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit.

  • Coordinate the identification, monitoring, and reporting of key risks (i.e., credit, insurance, market, operational, etc.) and provide timely reporting and analysis on the effectiveness of control processes.

The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Demonstrate critical and analytical thinking skills with the ability to assess risks.

  • Apply risk management, audit, or insurance industry experience.

  • Exhibit strong relationship management and teamwork skills, with experience negotiating a consensus.

  • Resolve conflicts and issues effectively.

  • Lead team members or provide supervisory guidance.

  • Organize efficiently with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments.

  • Collaborate successfully, allowing for effective partnerships.

  • Communicate outstandingly, both verbally and in writing.

  • Show strong initiative, work ethic, and flexibility.

  • Work independently while providing appropriate levels of communication and seeking approvals or escalations when necessary

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Risk OR 8 years of directly related work experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, or Insurance industry.

What will set you apart:

  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

  • More than 7 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, or Insurance industry.
